Controlled Chaos

"Controlled Chaos" is a stream-of-consciousness experiment starting with nothing more than the application of gauche paints being blown onto paper with a straw. The randomness of the paint, representing the chaotic element of the painting, then became the framework for the controlled exploration of the space, guided only by mood and a litany of on-going professional pressures; Each step, influenced only by the subsequent.

"Some Assembly Required" was inspired by the rapid number of regional influences impacted on the artist as his life would take him from his home state of Minnesota, to two new states for college, Montana and New York, before securing his first professional role in Florida, to be shortly followed by a new career opportunity in Texas.
